TORI HUNT, LPC
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
Joseph Campbell said it best: “One way or another, we all have to find what best fosters the flowering of our humanity in this contemporary life, and dedicate ourselves to that.” This vision of “the flowering of our humanity” is at the heart of my therapeutic work. As an eclectic therapist, I draw from a variety of theoretical approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Existential Therapy techniques. My goal is always to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.
My areas of focus include helping clients explore their most authentic selves, deepening their spiritual connections when desired, and healing from the impact of narcissistic abuse by uncovering resilience and strengths gained through adversity. I am also pursuing certification in Integrative Mental Health, which emphasizes nutrition, lifestyle, and mind-body connection—tools that can enhance overall wellness. In addition, I enjoy supporting athletes across all sports in developing mental strategies that foster peak performance and steady growth.
Beyond the therapy room, a background in competitive athletics, an ongoing study of spirituality, and a life rich with family and community all inform my perspective as a clinician. These experiences have helped cultivate balance, adaptability, and presence—qualities that directly benefit my work with clients and guide the way I support them in their own journeys.
