RESA FREDERICK
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, recovery, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, Resa believes therapy offers a safe place to pause, reflect, and begin moving forward.
Resa is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. She believes meaningful healing begins by meeting people where they are and working collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects each client's unique strengths, values, and goals.
Originally from Helena, Arkansas, and having spent more than 25 years in the Mississippi Delta before relocating to North Mississippi, Resa brings over 15 years of experience serving adolescents, young adults, and adults in residential and outpatient behavioral health settings. She has a special interest in working with individuals experiencing substance use and recovery, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and co-occurring mental health concerns.
Resa is EMDR trained and integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches with expressive and creative interventions when appropriate, recognizing that every person's path to healing is unique.
Whether you're seeking therapy for the first time or returning after years away, Resa considers it a privilege to walk alongside you as you build resilience, rediscover hope, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
