REBEKAH JONES

LICENSED CERTIFIED SOCIAL WORKER

Rebekah believes every person deserves to be met with compassion, respect, and genuine support. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals through life’s transitions, health challenges, and seasons of uncertainty, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal.

Her clinical experience includes community mental health, hospice grief care, substance use treatment, and university counseling. Most recently, Rebekah served at the University of Mississippi Counseling Center, where she worked with a diverse population of adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and periods of personal transformation. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of serving clients ranging in age from six to one hundred and one.

Rebekah has a special interest in supporting adults living with chronic illness, chronic pain, grief, and major life transitions. She also enjoys working with women in midlife and beyond, older adults, autistic adults, and individuals experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She recognizes that every journey is unique and believes therapy should be individualized to meet each person's needs, strengths, and goals.

Her approach is both compassionate and evidence-based. Drawing from somatic psychotherapy, Rebekah helps clients understand the connection between the mind and body, gently regulate the nervous system, and process experiences in ways that don't always rely on words. She understands that healing does not always require retelling every painful chapter of a person's story. Through expressive, somatic, and movement-informed approaches, she creates opportunities for clients to reconnect with themselves, increase emotional awareness, and experience lasting change.

For clients who benefit from a more structured approach, Rebekah also incorporates evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapies. She enjoys helping individuals with OCD, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts develop practical skills, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build confidence through treatment that is both supportive and goal-oriented. Her flexibility allows her to adapt therapy to each client, whether the work is expressive and experiential, focused on nervous system regulation, or grounded in structured interventions.

Above all, Rebekah strives to create a space where clients feel accepted exactly as they are. Whether someone arrives with a clear understanding of what they need or simply knows something has to change, she is committed to meeting them where they are and walking alongside them as they move toward healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.
