LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

M.A., LPC

CAROLINE LONG

Do you feel stuck? Is your past haunting you, or worry about what's to come holding you back? Please know there is hope for a future version of yourself to find acceptance, peace, and change in your life.

Caroline finds particular purpose in helping those navigate a lack of richness and meaning in their lives. She also enjoys helping those who wish to become more empowered by their neurodivergence, those struggling with processing experiences related to their inner child and past traumas, men's issues, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, parenting challenges, the discovery of emotional intelligence, communication difficulties, anger, and existential issues. She has a special interest in helping first responders navigate the complexities of their roles both professionally and personally. She uses an integrated approach consisting of evidence-based modalities, including, but not limited to, Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic therapy, and Solutions-Focused treatments. She believes in the importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients, ensuring a space where they feel both safe and understood in a judgment-free zone. In addition to this, she provides regular check-ins throughout the process to ensure a pacing that feels comfortable but is also geared toward growth and change, which may at times mean holding her clients' feet to the fire with compassion and accountability.

Caroline is an LGBTQIA+ ally. At this time, Caroline works with adults only.
