Abigail views counseling as a collaborative process where clients are considered the experts on their own lives and the primary agents of change. Her role is to walk alongside clients by offering support, insight, and practical tools while honoring their autonomy and inner wisdom. She believes that meaningful growth begins within the context of a safe, authentic therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.

Abigail strives to create a space where clients can show up exactly as they are, whether feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, stuck, or simply curious about themselves. She views therapy as an opportunity for honest reflection, increased self-understanding, and intentional growth. Together with her clients, she works to explore patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with their values.

She has experience working within a university counseling center, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, disordered eating, body image concerns, low self-esteem, identity development, and self-exploration. This work has deepened her appreciation for the complexity of each individual’s story and the courage it takes to seek support.
