Lana Sanders, M.Ed., LPC, CCTP II
Life can often feel overwhelming, and being hard on ourselves only adds to that burden. I strongly believe that finding meaning in our experiences, particularly in our suffering, is crucial. My approach to self-growth and recovery is centered around three essential components: honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness. These principles guide my practice and interactions.
I strive to create a safe, judgment-free environment where individuals can engage in active and reflective listening. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your existence. With extensive experience working with addiction and trauma, I have developed a solid foundation in various therapeutic practices.
As a Level II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Geek Therapist in training, I focus on the role of the nervous system in trauma and incorporate somatic recovery techniques into my work. I utilize a combination of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and logotherapy, ensuring a tailored approach for each individual. Additionally, I offer Christian-based therapy upon request. Together, we can explore your journey toward healing and growth in a compassionate and supportive environment.
