LYNDSIE DAVIS, M.ED., LPC, CAT, NCC, BC-TMH
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
I believe that we are the creators of our realities and that therapy can be a catalyst to assist clients in discovering their own intrinsic ability to understand and change their realities. As a therapist based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existentialism, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Therapy, I believe that my role as a therapist is to empower clients to help them help themselves and discover their true meaning and purpose in life. I take a holistic, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to connecting with clients.
The therapist-client relationship is collaborative in nature, wherein I take a team-player approach in assisting my clients in becoming their best selves. My goal is to help clients process the events that have shaped their perceptions on life, learn from their experiences, find peace with their pasts, grow, recover, and heal.
